The Wine
Nadim Syrah is a full-bodied, rich and flavorful wine that exhibits a persistent bouquet of chocolate and blackberry. This wine displays a lingering and pleasing finish. While enjoyable now, 2013 Nadim Syrah will improve in the bottle and remain excellent for years. This wine was aged in French oak barrels for 12 months.
This wine pairs well with full-flavored foods such as marinated beef. Give this wine a try with lamb shawerma or musakhan. Best enjoyed at room temperature.
The Vineyard
The 2013 Nadim Syrah is made from grapes grown in the Aboud Vineyards, which are located on the entrance of the village at elevations around 800 meters (2,600 feet) above sea level. Aboud Vineyards has proven to source high quality grapes with moderate irrigation. The grapes were hand-picked in the right technological and phenological maturation and transported from the vineyard to the winery immediately in small boxes.
