Nadim Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a full-bodied wine with flavors of blackcurrants, tobacco leaf, sweet and new oak and dark plum. This is an elegant and plush cabernet with soft but persistent tannins and an overall perfect balance. It is enjoyable right now but will age nicely for years to come. The wine is aged in heavily toasted Chateau-style French oak barrels for 23 months for a delicate aging process.
The wine pairs perfectly with seared leg of lamb, caramelized onions and mustard greens or traditional barbequed lamb chops (riyash).
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is made from grapes grown in the Aboud Vineyards, which are located on the entrance of the village at elevations around 800 meters (2,600 feet) above sea level. Aboud Vineyards has proven to source high quality grapes with moderate irrigation. The grapes were hand-picked in the right technological and phenological maturation and transported from the vineyard to the winery immediately in small boxes in refrigerated trucks.
